Materials
LL Base Package 1/2" Flat Flat - spokes & rims #2 Round - twining	7mm Flat Flat - weavers 11/64" Flat Oval - lashing Seagrass - rim filler

Cut 20 spokes from 1/2" Flat Flat each 7" long. Dampen slightly. Mark the center of the base (3"). Measure approximately1" in on the long side of the base and make a pencil mark on the base. Do the same on the other end of the base. Insert a spoke (smooth side down) at each pencil mark, and then insert 3 spokes between the 2 spokes (total of 5). This will be the back of your basket and will allow the wire extension of the triple heart to go down the 2 marked spokes.

Continue inserting spokes - 1 in each corner, 3 on each short side, and 5 in the front of the base for a total of 20 spokes. Twine 1 time around the base with #2 Round, or glue in the spokes if desired. I glued in my spokes, therefore no twining was necessary.

Dampen the spokes before upsetting them and weave start and 10 rows of 7mm Flat Flat. The first row is woven Inside the center spoke. Pack well as you weave and check often to be sure the wire extensions will go down the 2 marked spokes.

After packing the weavers again, cut and tuck the spokes. Insert the wire extensions of the triple heart down the 2 marked spokes. Rim with 1/2" Flat Flat inside and outside, seagrass between the rims and double lash with 11/64" Flat Oval.

I sprayed my basket with Oak Weaver's Stain before attaching the hearts with a hot glue gun.
