Materials
6" x 6" Corner Base
7mm Flat Flat - weavers
#2 Seagrass - rim filler
11/64" Flat Oval - lashing

3/8" Flat Flat - spokes, (1) weaver & inner rim
3/8" Flat Oval - outer rim
3/8" Ribbon - approx. 1 ft.

Cut 28 spokes from 3/8" FF each 6" long. Insert 12 spokes in the rounded front of the base, and 8 spokes on the 2 remaining sides. If the groove in your base is too narrow to insert the spokes, run sandpaper around the groove several times and/or sand down the end of each spoke (you want a tight fit). Because the spokes will be bent up immediately, I glued in all my spokes.

Dampen the spokes before upsetting them. Weave the following rows start and stop:

6 rows 7mm FF
1 row 3/8" FF
1 row 7mm FF


Keep the spokes straight as you weave. Pack well before cutting and tucking. Rim with 3/8" FO outside , 3/8" FF inside, #2 seagrass between rims and lash with 11/64" FO. Spray your basket with Weaver's Stain before making the bow.
