Materials
6" x 10" Peg D Handle
5/8" Flat Flat - spokes
3/16" Flat Oval - weavers
1/4" Flat Flat - Green - weavers

11/64" Flat Oval - lashing
3/8" Flat Flat - rims
Seagrass - rim filler
3 Felt Stocking Pkg.
Using 5/8" FF, cut 5 spokes 16" long. Mark the center of each on the wrong side. Dampen the spokes. Insert the 5 spokes into the slot in the handle, spacing them evenly. Bend the spokes up. Use clamps (or clothespins) to hold each spoke together at the top.

Cut 19 weavers each 19" long using 3/16" FO, and 2 weavers 19" long using 1/4" FF green, and dampen. I found it easier on this basket to "thread" the end of my weaver in and out of the spokes. The first row will be woven on the outside of the handle.

Weave 21 rows start and stop in the following order:

3 - 3/16" FO (clamps or clothespins can be removed after the 3rd row)
1 - 1/4" FF green
13 - 3/16" FO
1 - 1/4" FF green
3 - 3/16" FO

Pack well, cut and tuck spokes and rim with 3/8" FF, seagrass between rims, and lash with 11/64" FO.

Spray your basket with Weaver's Stain and let it dry comletely before gluing on the felt stockings (I used Maxi-Cure glue).
