Top Measurement: 3 3/4"W x 5"L x 3 1/4"T

| Cut 20 spokes from 1/4" FF each 6" long. With the smooth side down, insert 5 spokes on each long side of the rectangle base, 3 spokes on ech end of the base, and 1 in each corner. You may have to taper the ends of some spokes if they fit too close together. Gluing in the spokes is optional. Weave 2 rows with 11/64" FO keeping the spokes flat. Upset the spokes and continue with 11 more rows of 11/64" FO. Pack well before weaving 3 rows dyed 3mm FO. Weave 4 more rows of 11/64" FO. Pack well, cut and tuck spokes. Rim with 1/4" FF, seagrass between rims and lash with 11/64" FO. |
Business Card Basket
(OVAL BASE)
Top Measurement: 3 1/2"W x 4 1/2"L x 2 1/4"T

Cut 20 spokes from 1/4" FF each 5" long. With smooth side down, insert them evenly around the oval base. Weave 2 rows 11/64" FO, keeping the spokes flat. Upset the spokes and continue with 6 more rows of 11/64" FO, 3 rows dyed 3mm FO, and 4 rows 11/64" FO. Pack well, cut and tuck spokes. Rim in the same manner as above.
Spray with your favorite Weaver's Stain (I used Clear).
