Materials
1/4" Flat Flat - Weavers & Lashing
3/8" Flat Flat - Rim Row
1/2" Flat Flat - Weavers & Bow - Natural & Dyed
1/2" Flat Oval - rims
5/8" Flat Flat - Spokes
Seagrass - Rim Filler
7 1/2" x 6 1/2" D Handle

From dyed 1/2" FF, cut (1) 19" spoke, (1) weaver (approximately 32"), and a 19" flexible piece for the bow.

From 5/8" FF, cut 12 spokes each 19" long. Soak briefly.

Layout 3 spokes under the handle and 4 spokes on top. Weave in 3 natural spokes to the right of the handle; and to the left 1 natual, 1 dyed and 1 natural. Square up the base to 7 1/2" x 7 1/2". Upset the spokes. Weave the following rows- squaring the corners as you weave:

1 row 1/2" FF - natural (woven in front of handle)
8 rows 1/4" FF
1 row 1/2" FF - dyed (this will be woven behind the dyed spoke)
1 rim row - 3/8" FF

Pack well, cut and tuck spokes. Rim with 1/2" FO (this is a good time to use the thin FO you've been saving). Lace with 1/4" FF. Square corners again. To make the bow - insert a flexible 19" piece of dyed 1/2" FF rough side out behind where the dyed spoke and dyed weaver intersect. Center this piece. Make a loop to the right and bring the end back behind the dyed spoke. Do the same on the left side. Slightly twist the ends and insert them under the second row of weaving from the bottom of the basket. Cut ends to size.

Stain with your favorite shade of Weavers Stain.
