Materials
#2R - twining
3/16" FO - lashing
1/4" FF Dyed - weavers
1/2" FF - weavers
7mm FF - rim row
1/2" FO -rims
5/8" FF - spokes
Seagrass - rim filler
2 Wrough Iron Handles

Using 5/8" FF, cut 5 spokes 22" long, and 9 spokes 18" long.

Layout 5 horizontal spokes, then weave in 9 vertical spokes starting over at the center spoke. Adjust base to measure 5" x 10". Twine once around the base. Upset the spokes, and alternate rows of 1/2" FF and 1/4" FF dyed weavers for a total of 9 rows, beginning and ending with 1/2" FF. Weave in a rim row of 7mm FF. Pack well.

Your wrought iron handles will be placed on each end of your basket. Cut off flush the center spoke and bend the spoke on either side over the base of the handles. Cut and tuck remaining spokes.

Rim with 1/2" FO, seagrass between, and lash with 3/16" FO. Spray with your favorite shade of Weaver's Stain or leave natural. A quick fabric liner can be made by cutting your fabric with pinking shears, and pulling it though at each of the 4 corners (under the rim).

Wrough Iron Handles are available at NC Basketworks.
