Using 3/4" FF, cut 3 spokes @ 24" and 7 spokes @ 20". Layout the 3 horizontal spokes, then weave in the 7 vertical spokes. Adjust the base to measure 7" x 3". Weave in a "holding row" of 7mm FF, mitering the corners. Upset the spokes and weave the following rows of start and stop: 2 rows 1/4" FF - green 2 rows 1/4" FF - red 11 rows 7mm FF 2 rows 1/4" FF - red 2 rows 1/4" FF - green 1 row 7mm FF Pack well. Cut and tuck the spokes. Insert the handle. Rim with 1/2" FO, seagrass between rims, and lash with 3/16" FO. Spray with Clear Weaver's Stain and attach the painted holly & berries. |
